A brief history of

Jeff created (and parent company NavalTees) in 1997, the early days of the boom. He served as CEO, president, creative/art Director, web designer, sales rep, and sole Illustrator for the company for the next 15 years building it into one of the most popular military related brands in the world. Since then, has become one of the most recognized military web sites, also making Jeff one of the most well known military artists.

In 2006 hired it's first employee Lo Bronson to help with administrative and customer service duties. In 2009 Ken Tindall joined our team as Production Manager, who's expertise brought screen-printing in-house. Freeing us from having to outsource to third party printers. This gave us full control of product development, production and quality assurance.

In 2010, long time friend and fellow Navy Chief, Frank Deaton, joined with Jeff as the CEO. With his exceptional background with business development in the defense industry, Frank lead NavalTees into the next phase of growth including large scale production, new customer service initiatives, and scaled-up the business to be a leader in military, and eventually, main-stream apparel design and production.

In 2011, Jeff's wife of 24 years and co-founder of, Marion Hobrath, passed away from cancer. Following his loss, Jeff took a hiatus from from 2012-2016. During this time NavalTees opened its doors to new artists, including Megan Skotnicki who expanded the female apparel line. In November 2016, Jeff returned with full force once again teaming with Frank and crew to continue pushing the mission forward.

NavalTees is featured in Navy Exchange stores around the globe at every key Naval base and installations world-wide. serves thousands of visitors monthly, allowing everyone access to the coolest military products on the web.
